Goodison Park

I recently travelled to Florence, but as I was leaving Liverpool, I felt it only fitting to see the two famous sites that are only divided by a public park. The first stadium is Everton's, Goodison Park. It reminds me a lot of Ibrox Stadium, which is still my favourite stadium. So I landed at Luton Airport. I already booked a company cab. Their service is exceptional. They are the best in the market. The driver was waiting for me with my name board. He was happy to take me with him. He greeted me with a kind grin. I replied the samely. Later he started to drive towards Goodison park. After some hours I reached there. The trip was comfortable and enjoyable. He dropped me outside of the gate.
From the outside, Goodison Park appears enormous, with its massive stands. On matchday, the fans filling the small streets around the stadium give the impression that you've travelled back in time to when every football stadium looked like this. That, though, is Goodison's issue. Apart from the contemporary Park Stand (which opened in 1994 and features an electronic scoreboard on its roof), the remainder of the ground appears worn. Yes, the field is still huge, but it has to be modernised. For example, there are several supporting pillars, and the earth appears to have seen better days. Nonetheless, unlike other newer stadiums, Goodison Park has character, and the three-tiered Main Stand, which opened in 1971, is a sight to behold. Two enormous TV displays are located at opposing corners of the ground. If you are a home/neutral fan who is not afraid of heights, attempt to secure a ticket for the Main Stand's upper balcony. You have a 'bird's eye perspective of the game as well as views across Stanley Park, with Anfield in the background. If you were an Everton supporter, you would probably not want to visit Anfield during the game, thus my suggestion is for neutrals.
A church called St Lukes's lies just beyond the video screen in one corner of the stadium, making it a one-of-a-kind feature (selling teas & snacks at reasonable prices on matchdays). If you have time before the game, check for the statue behind the Park Stand, which is a memorial to Dixie Dean. Even after all these years, the Everton team still plays the theme song from the 1960s and 1970s police television series Z Cars. Both ends of the field have been christened by the Club. The Howard Kendall Gwladys Street End is named after former player and the Club's most successful Manager, Howard Kendall. The Park Stand has been renamed the Sir Philip Carter Park End after a former Chairman.
Even though the last substantial upgrades at Goodison Park were just in 1994, the discussion of a stadium relocation has been discussed for just two years afterwards. Of course, it has yet to occur. However, we do know a little something about Everton's new stadium. It will be erected on the Bramley Moore dock and designed by world-renowned architects MEIS, who have created innumerable structures in the United States, as well as sports stadiums in Qatar, China, and Brazil, to mention a few.
